Building Websites
I look at building websites as more of a hobby and it's one of those that can be profitable as well. I have a full day job and freelances only during my spare time in the evenings and weekends. There is something about geeks and working in the wee hours of the day - we seem to work best when everyone else is asleep. Not that I'm a geek
but you get the drift.
So yeah, things have been picking up recently, I'm now working on several projects that hopefully will bring me closer to my dream: a life free of credit card debts! Well, not that I owe much or anything like that, a little maybe.
The pace of changing web technology has seemed to slow down somewhat, unlike a few years ago when everything and everybody was coming up with new versions of everything. At least nowadays, you can say that there are mostly two big schools of web development - either you sell your soul to Microsoft or, be a man and do the right thing (ala Russel Peters) and go PHP and MySQL.
Which is the shining path that I'm taking...
